Big success! First edition Festival der Kunsten Statenkwartier
Inspiring music and art was to be enjoyed on a mild sunday afternoon on 9 February 2014. Festival der Kunsten 2014 Statenkwartier was a succes, thanks to the big turnout, willing artists and musicians, and the hospitability of residents in the Statenkwartier area in The Hague.

Yukiko Hasegawa enters into a collaboration with Podium Talent Nederland to organize the Festival der Kunsten and has classical music - next to the visual arts - play a major part in it. In cooperation with Podium Talent Nederland, that organizes the festival annually in Nijmegen, she is presenting the first edition of the Festival der Kunsten Statenkwartier in The Hague.
In living rooms of hospitable residents in the Statenkwartier area there are 6 professional young artists from The Hague and 6 (groups of) musicians to make their work visible and hearable. The festival starts at 12:00 and finishes at 17:00. The musicians play at fixed times. The visual artists are present the whole afternoon. With: Yukiko Hasegawa (piano) , Tobias Borsboom (piano), Aron Tringali (piano), Lidy Blijdorp (cello), Genevieve Verhage (cello), Peter Vigh (saxofoon), Matthías Sigurdsson (clarinet), Sebastiaan van den Bergh (cello), Esther van der Ploeg (hobo). Artists: Chiara Brunotti, Juliaan Andeweg, Tim Breukers, Maarten Boekweit, Alette Wttewaall en Bernice Nauta.
Passe-partouts à € 7,50 and festival booklets are available at Lunchroom 'Tasty' at the Frederik Hendriklaan 58 in The Hague from the 14th of January. Children up to 12 years are free.
